Connected Living has launched the lecture series "C-Level Perspectives on the Future of Digitization" in cooperation with the Telekom Innovation Laboratories, the TU Berlin and the research center DAI Laboratory of the TU Berlin. Starting in the first quarter of 2018, the lectures are held quarterly in the main auditorium of the TU Berlin, focusing on branch-specific topics of digital transformation. In addition to more than 500 students, guests from economy, research, politics and the media will be able to participate in the various lectures of the event series.
The digitization is progressing, developing in a complex way and increasingly changing the private and professional everyday life – of every single one! Connected technologies revolutionize the way we live and communicate, traditional business models and entire professional fields will be eliminated, innovative business models and new qualification and research requirements will be created. The digital transformation has now become one of the most important keys to company success. But not in all industries the digital standards adjust equally and in the same speed. The respective progress is sector-specific.
Within the framework of the lecture series "C-Level Perspectives on the Future of Digitization", top managers at C-level will present from 2018 the current developments and challenges of digitization from their perspective and provide insights into their experiences and future research projects. To that end, we invite top-level executives of those companies that were able to hold their ground in the age of digitalization as a pioneer in their respective industries and actively promote the digital transformation of their business segments. The lectures will focus, inter alia, on the following key questions:
Which new business processes and models are emerging in the various industries in the course of digitization? How can intelligent technologies solve future challenges and how do these technologies affect companies, institutions and society?
Further information, the respective specific dates as well as the individual lecture topics and speakers will be published promptly. Aylin Özdil from the office is the contact person for the lecture series.
