After a keynote speech "Rise of the Machine Shopper" and keynote speeches on the revised Payment Services Directive PSD II, the trends in the payment area and on platforms and marketplace models, the participants will develop concrete starting points for different payment processes in Connected Living as well as implementation approaches for their companies in a method-led workshop, moderated by our member zero360. Live demos will illustrate new technological approaches.
The use of new technologies affects consumer behavior today more than ever: Digital services such as chatbots, apps, automated reordering of food and consumer goods, booking concierge services and entertainment applications conveniently via Smart TV or shopping via voice control extend the spectrum of the digital Connected Life fundamentally, lifting the shopping, service - and booking process to a higher level and allow the development of new customer offers and interfaces. In order to fully exploit the potential, it requires the active discussion of the topic of payment, which enables companies to open up a world full of new possibilities, sales opportunities and potential customers.
In detail, there will be discussed:
- what impact the Internet of Things and new payment models have on commerce, the shopping behavior of consumers and on sales and service strategies of companies
- what specific guidelines exist in connection with the provision and use of payment services
- how to promote innovation in payments and what opportunities exist to develop new services and business models
- which innovative ordering and payment processes in Connected Living are possible and how they can be concretely implemented in your companies
